ABOUT ME

Hey there, i'm Jourdan. I attend the beautiful Arizona State University, and i'm majoring in Political Science with a minor in Theatre and/or French. My political affiliation is democrat, but I enjoy discussing politics with anyone as long as they have an educated opinion. I love traveling, and plan to visit as many places as I can in the world.
I have a certain fondness for sharks. They are easily my favorite animals. I love New York City, as well as L.A. and Paris, and London. I also love coffee and sunrises. I'm not incredibly musically talented, but love playing around with all sorts of instruments. I'm all about people loving people, and accepting each other for who we are. I can be a spontaneous, and I am always up for making new friends.

Right now I am unable to host anyone because I live in a dorm. But next year, I will be more than happy to!

My favorite bands are, but not limited to, the following:
Incubus, Motion City Soundtrack, U2, Brand New, The Beatles, Elliott Smith, Death Cab For Cutie, and Reel Big Fish.

As far as TV goes, I absolutely love LOST. The Office comes in a close second. It's definitely a guilty pleasure.
Also up on my list is Entourage. And basically any show HBO puts out. I also enjoy reruns of Will and Grace, and Scrubs. I will always love Buffy the Vampire Slayer, as well as the first season of the O.C. ♥

Movies: Way too many to name. I love a good indie film or a drama, but I also am a fan of all the ridiculous movies along the lines of Anchorman and Knocked Up.

Books: Definitely way too many to name. Harry Potter, Jurassic Park (or anything Michael Crichton). Anything Stephen King, White Oleander by Janet Fitch. Mists of Avalon. I read a lot, so it's difficult to name everything.

-I've swam with wild dolphins in New Zealand. No joke. So I suppose that was pretty amazing.

-Preformed in front of over 70,000 people this year when I was in colorguard with the college marching band. I think they aired us on national TV too, but i'm not sure.

-I've seen Barack Obama speak live, which is extremely amazing, in my opinion. I've also seen Bill and Hillary Clinton speak.

-I've seen a lot of actors on Broadway, among them Hugh Jackman, Julianne Moore, Bill Nighy, and Bernadette Peters. I saw Sienna Miller doing Shakespeare in London, and had Ewan McGregor run away from me on a motorbike. Not cool.

-I'm attempting to write a book. We'll see how that goes.
