Hello I'm Ric! I grew up in Italy and I've relocated to Albania some time ago. Now I'm living close to Tirana.

I like to learn about languages, cutoms, traditions and history from other places and cultures.
I'm a bit averse to sports unless we're talking about tablesoccer and pool, but I like long walks. I also like to drink socially and play board games that do not require the knowledge of 50 pages long manuals. I like cats but I'm allergic to them; go wonder.

With enough time and willpower I can cook a couple of very nice pasta with Bolognese or Carbonara sauce. But I like the eating part better.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I wasn't aware of CS until recently, hoping to hang out and meet people. Can't speak of hosting as I've got somehow an erratic schedule. I don't use traditional social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) and CS seems a bit better under that profile as it appears to be specifically intended to meet people in the real life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Once in a while I find out new songs and it's hardly anything commercial. Recently I've found out a channel on YT named "weirdmusicman" and they've got all nice songs from the 1960s-1970s. "Border Patrol" is quite enjoyable so let's say this is the favorite for the moment (until the algorithm resurrects some loyalist/rebel song from during The Troubles).
