Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been "unoficially" CS hosting in Paris for the last three years. That means, opening my house to friends and friends of friends and Facebook friends and up to strangers. According to the reviews left in my guestbook (a cheap notebook that has more than 200 names on it), I am good host and rather a nice person.

Interests

I think I'm a good guide at Louvre and at Père Lachaise.

And also to some well hidden tresaures of the city

And I wrote a book about my life in Paris

Music, Movies, and Books

I think Leonard Cohen is maybe the best living poet in the world.
and I like Tom Waits, and all the projects of Amanda Palmer, and I was raised in the nineties so I still listen Nirvana and GNR and Pearl Jam.
So at heart I am a rocker, but very open to any kind of music.

And Books, and authors:

Opio en las nubes, Kerouac, Virginie Despentes, Daniel Pennac, maybe The Master and Margarita is my favorite book ever.

and lately Sam Sheppard and Safran Foer

and last year I was so into Mircea Cartarescu

and Cohen, as a novelist too.

and I can proudly say that I've read to the end the seven volumes of "À la recherche" and that other looooong book written by that irish Dubliner.

and if it were'nt for Cortazar I'd probably be somewhere else than in Paris.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travel in a coal truck for 800 kilometers... inside the coal-load.

Hitch-hiking from Paris to Amsterdam in 5 hours almost less than it takes the same drive in your own car.

Seeing the dolphins following the ferry when travelling from Algeciras to Tanger.

A 36 hours trip on the deck of a hughe boat from Ancona in Italy to Patras.

Crossing Serbia writing about the Syrian refugees.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Cuba, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Morocco, Portugal, Romania, Russian Federation, Serbia, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In

Colombia, France, Romania, United States
