About Me

I'm a happy, smiling and positive introspective extrovert :D

I'm passionate about getting to know new people, from different cultures and different ways of thinking. I like to question everything and learn as much as I can.

I love doing things with a greater purpose of developing people. I am a member of an NGO - BEST - who strives for a greater understanding of people and cultures through the development of students' soft skills.

Also I've organized a bunch of events, travelled quite a bit and alooped for an year to dedicate myself to volunteering. But that's a different story!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

On one side, I love travelling with only a backpack, a book to write stuff and no plans whatsoever :) I love how I feel and how much I learn and grow in such a short period of time.

On the other hand, I also love meeting new people, and this is an amazing platform to do so. Specially, you get to meet people who share the same passion for travelling, which is a cool first step!

Music, Movies, and Books

Overall genres: blues, jazz
Bands: Dave Matthews Band, John Butler, Raul Midón
Movies: The Shawshank Redemption, American Beauty, Three Idiots, Into the Wild
Books: Currently enjoying Focus, by Daniel Goleman

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The thing I'm most proud of doing was, as well, the thing that scared me the most, at the time: freezing my studies to do a year of volunteering in Spain.

Working with people with mental illness issues was a big challenge for someone with a technical background. It made me grow and really appreciate how lucky I am. It was also extremely fulfilling to feel I've made a difference in people.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can play the basics of guitar so if you're a complete noob I can teach you :) In terms of music I know a bit of DJing, producing, basic theory... Any topics related to soft-skills, NGO management, people development, I've had plenty of experience! I can also teach some more technical stuff related to IT.

I'm interested in learning whatever you feel like teaching! I'm currently learning how to play the harmonica, and I always carry it with me :) Also I'm currently learning meditation

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share with you my positive energy, introspective thinking and constant happiness! I always see the good side in people and try my best to see the whole picture. I live in the present and try to be mindful as much as I can.

I've travelled a bit, met a lot of different people and have a handful of cool stories to tell :)

Also I love to debate about any topic, and understand contrasting points. Count on me for long conversations, with a cup of wine/tea on our hands!
