About Me

CURRENT MISSION

what's so funny about peace. love, and understanding?

ABOUT ME

I'm kinda quiet and do best meeting new people in small groups. so having a few folks come stay with us and vice versa seems like a great way for me to meet people that I'd otherwise miss out on.

I love outdoor activites, being far from water here in the Rockies it means lots of biking and hiking. If I'm near the coast I'd love to be paddling.

my wife and I love to travel and explore areas that are new to us and meeting people along the way!

most of the time we're not looking for tour guide or hoping to be tour guides. we're pretty independent and enjoy a dinner with hosts/guests and making some suggestions on what to do in town. we don't want to overwhelm our hosts and always grateful for the hospitality!

please point me towards your favorite coffeehouse

PHILOSOPHY

I try to be very open-minded and I hope to live my life without others telling me what I can and cannot do. I hope to be the same towards others.

I've been rehabilitating my dog who broke his leg.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a weakness for science fiction and comics/graphic novels.

I enjoy most kinds of music. I think that all music has someone who performs it well and makes it interesting and enjoyable. that said, most of the stuff that you hear on the radio does not fall into that category.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent six years paddling around Prince William Sound in Alaska- I saw amazing wildlife from puffins to orcas, camped on the beaches, watched the northern lights... I miss it terribly

just had an amazing 6 week trip of Denmark, N. Germany, Netherlands, and a bit of Sweden by bike!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can give tips on knitting.
