ABOUT ME

I was born in Germany, came to Portugal with my parents, lived in Coimbra and now I live with my wife in Lisbon.

I'm very creative and lively, in fact my whole family is quite fun. I'm an only child but I have a great family and friends so I never felt alone. I love my village, small with good people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

- First question... why CouchSurfing?
Because I like to experience the culture of the place I'm visiting and I ignore the tourism stuff. That's the main reason. I don't have the sense on how to appreciate monuments 🤷‍♂️

I love getting places that if I was a regular tourist I would never know.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

- My first experience was in 2010 in London. I travel alone but I never felt alone. It was a great time, very rewarding and this was all made possible by CouchSurfing.

- Apr, 2011: Hosted a friend
- Jun, 2011: Hosted
- May, 2012: Hosted 3 people
- May, 2014: Hosted 2 people
- Several coffee meetups in Coimbra
- May 2019: Surfed with my wife in Amsterdam

Intereses

I'm very eclectic. I'm passionate about life so I like to try new things quite often.

I love nature, hence my passion for cycling, animals and crafts. I love my village, small with good people.

I can teach:
- Athletic nutrition, because I practice exercise almost everyday
- Biological food, because nowadays some food are toxic
- Some stuff about classic guitar, it's a little hobbie
- Photography, a hobbie

I would love to learn:
- About different cultures and food techniques
- New languages, I love to listen Italian
- Dancing
- Dressmaking, to remake some clothes :) maybe to reuse old stuff
