About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Discovering new places, new people, new ways of understanding life. Love to see the world through cooking. Looking for a good conversation in face of some local beverage and a new dish waiting to be tasted.

ABOUT ME

I am a person who loves discovering new things. I have an open mind and I enjoy simple things: laughing, partying, drinking some beers. I am hospitable and very curious about different cultures and ways of thinking. I like irony and good jokes.

PHILOSOPHY

The relativity of points of view, of human's philosophies, and how there can be as many ways of understanding life as people. No, definitely many more.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My girlfriend and I love travelling and we would like to meet some new people and sometimes find a place to sleep. We have an appartment in Metz, in a quite neighbourhood not far to the city centre. We have a bed-sofa and are hoping to couch some travellers who would like to discover Moselle.

Interests

I love meeting my friends and trying some new beers always I can. I love playing darts, billiard, baby socker or any kind of bar sport. One of my favourite things to do is planning exotic dishes together with my girlfriend and cooking them while listening to some good music. I am always thinking of a new country / region / place that I could visit. I love learning new languages, I will probably ask any local for some new expressions!

Music, Movies, and Books

Some books I loved reading: The Lord of the Rings, Asimov's "The End of Eternity", Auster's "The City of Glass", Anderson's "Winesburg, Ohio", Luca de Tena's "Los renglones torcidos de Dios", Groucho Marx's "Groucho and Me", Vladimir Kaminer's "Salve Papa"...

Some films I recently liked "Looper", "The Hobbit", "L'Arnaqueur", "Case Départ", "The Dark Knight". I have seen a thousand of times the "Back to the Future" Trilogy. "Donnie Darko"'s philosophy amazed me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Definitely Iceland was a great place worth visiting, with amazing landscapes which always make you think of going back there, as if you were charmed by them.

Countries I’ve Visited
