About Me

Hey everyone!
I'm Riccardo and I'm an Italian guy.
I'm a student: I had my first degree in Mechanical Engineering in Modena and now I'm studying for my Master degree in Vehicle Engineering in Modena as well, but at the moment I live in Dublin spending here my Erasmus period as a researcher at Trinity College.
Before being an engineer I studied humanistic subjects at high school and I'm a very open minded person, with a great passion for travelling and adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that here I could meet good people to share great moments with all over the world having the possibility to travel as I love to. Unfortunately at the moment I can't accept guests because I have no space in my shared flat in Dublin, but I would like to in the future!

Interests

My great passions are cars and motorbikes. I think I love them because they give us the possibility to travel and enjoy great moments on the road: as I said I love new adventures and for me roadtrips are the best.
I also love music - my spotify premium account is like a drug for me! - art in general and everything that's a new experience for me.
I was a swimmer in the past years .
Keen on photography too!

Music, Movies, and Books

It's difficult to say only one kind of music we love, so I won't. Anyway I can tell you I went to some great concerts like Pearl Jam, Roger Waters, Radiohead, Black Keys, The National, Bloody Beetroots, Kasabian, Blur... so you can guess my taste.
I like almost every road-book I have read, but in particular I loved "Jupiter's Travels" by Ted Simon. I like also beat-generation books, great classics and ancient roman and Greek literature.
My favorite movies are those ones that makes you fell different after watching..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I try to be myself everyday and get by. That's a great thing nowadays.
Seriously, one of my best moments was when me and my dad rode our bikes to northern Europe. It was kind of a special thing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I hope to share great moments together or at least a simple help to enjoy our meeting.
