Hellooo!

My name is Riccardo, an Italian guy and I am currently traveling around the Caribbeans and Latin America with a friend. We landed in Barbados after crossing the Atlantic Ocean on a sailing boat (Lagoon 400) and we are gonna proceed our trip to Puerto Rico after spending a month here.
I used CS a couple of times in France and Denmark and I always try to use it as a plan A when solo backpacking around Europe. I think it is the best way to visit a city without living the tourist life.

About me.. well.. I have studied a bunch of things and I have (and have had) some cool hobbies which I hope to talk about with somebody that will kindly host me. I am really curious and open minded, which I think makes me a cool person to be around. I am a very polite guest and I will take very little space.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My first experience with Couchsurfing has been amazing, I really want to continue to take advantage of this cool service, living the local and not the tourist lifestyle. It shows me how different people are but how politeness and the ability to listen and learn is common among all of us.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took a video of the moment the stoplights switch to intermittent orange.
I crossed the Atlantic Ocean on a sailing boat.
Fasted for 72 hours.
Reached Deep South Guyana by motorbike.
Crossing the Amazon River from Tabatinga to Belem Parà.
Did 200 push ups a day for 6 months.
Saw two blind people walking towards and bumping on each other.
