About Me

I am a very open minded guy who loves to see new cultures, make new experiences and discover new places: my life long dream is to see every place in the world and meet interesting people all along.

Since three years I am living with my girlfriend Yurika and we share the same love for travelling: one of the greateast experience together is a road trip to the Balcans in 2013.
We met such different people and saw such stunning places that we often dream about doing another road trip together (maybe Australia?).
We also have been to India in 2014, which was another life changing experience for us: everything was different and unexpectable from what we were used!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is the n° 1 opportunity to find local people who share the same interest in exchanging experiences. Normally, coming to a new city, the most difficult part is integrating with the locals and starting to bond with people, but with couchsurfing it's all done at the very beginning.

There is no better thing than visiting a country with the help of a person living there: no guides, no book, no documentary can give you the same precious advices.

Interests

Beeing an Italian, I obviously love good food and I think that every place in the world has a wonderful dish to offer.
At the same time, I can also provide some interesting recipes from my country.

I love nature and hiking: whenever it's possible I run from the city to find some peaceful place in the nature.

I am a huge fan of gymnastics, acrobatic and street workout in general. I generally practice also when I'm travelling, even if it is just for a few hours a week.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite book so far is "Roots by Alex Haley" which narrates about an african being deported as a slave to America. It then proceed to tell the all story of his family and children of his children until the author of the book.
I love the idea of everybody being different but at the same time I think it is very important to keep track of where do we come from.

My favourite movie is "Life is Beautiful" by Roberto Benigni. While I have seen a lot of great movies, this movie never fails to make me cry.

I appreciate different kind of music, being thatJazz, Funky, Blues, Rock or Grunge.
I do love a lot Pearl Jam and their music, but I also think that there is a song for every life situation.
For example I like deep house when I'm working out, while rock is perfect when I'm on the road with my car.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the best experience I have lived is skydiving: the sensation of downfall and complete powerlessness in the descent has really caught me.

Another great experience I have in my memories is going to Tanzania, to visit my sister who was living there with his husband who grew up there.
I really liked meeting every person of the village as if it was my life long friend, and I loved how open-hearted was everyone I met.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share with hosts my good company and good chats whenever they want.

I am also able to cook some amazing dishes from my country, being the majority of them pasta with different sauces! :)

I can share experiences that I lived and I am also interested in knowing theirs.
