ABOUT ME

I am a South African-New Zealand-Australian and though I have lived in Australia for more than a decade, I don't feel I really belong anywhere completely. I love travelling and meeting nice people. When I'm not travelling I'm a Psychology student and plan to become a Psychologist. I love the world, though I feel sadness for much of what happens in it. I have a deep respect for living things and the habitats which we all occupy. I have been vegan for 5 years now, and in general I try to consider the impact of my choices and life style.

PHILOSOPHY

Success is defined by the quality of life we afford to the smallest, the poorest and the least powerful among us, the dignity we secure for animals and the respect we show to the planet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Before joining the couch surfing community I have both put up and been put up by friends, relatives and strangers and have gained a number of life-long friendships by offering a traveler a lift, by going to stay with a friend of a friend and by providing a mattress on the floor for a distant relative.

Recently I have had the great experience of meeting up with a couple of other couch surfers in London, and of being hosted by some truely wonderful people in Europe. I am hopeful that my future couch surfing experiences will be just as positive.
