ABOUT ME

My name is Beks.
My husband and I have 2 boys aged 7 and 10 and a dog called Melo!
We are an easy going family, enjoy playing together. We live on beautiful Bribie Island, in Sunny South East Queensland, Australia.

PHILOSOPHY

I live as best I can according to Yogic Philosophy and am also a vegetarian, althought the rest of the family eat some meat.
Living with Compassion, Love, Joy and Tolerance.....
As a family we live fairly simply, enjoying each other and the beauty on our doorstep. We feel blessed to live in such a place as Bribie Island.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Motivated to create community, to uplift, inspire and help bring joy to the world. I believe that our own personal journey of positive growth is the best way to manifest change in the world around us.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No couchsurfing, but we have travelled extensively through India and South East Asia and spent time Wwoofing (willing workers on Organic Farms)in UK and Australia

We enjoy the simple life. I am a physiotherapist and Yoga Teacher, living a yogic lifestyle. I also play guitar and sing, performing and running a community SING! group. My husband Rich is a very laid back guy who can turn his hand to Anything! and we all enjoy sailing - we have a Catamaran boat.
Our boys love Lego, Sticks! swimming in the ocean, scooting and bike riding.

Always love to learn and explore and am open to new ideas on all levels. I love to share Yoga and it's depth of life philosophy. Love to share in making music...could help with guitar playing....or equally be taught more...I am self taught!
Enjoy cooking and cook mostly with an ayurvedic influence...happy to teach, happy to learn other yummy recipes.
Enjoy company for long doggy walks on the beach.
