Im just a very laid back, mellow kind of guy. I have my hobbies that are basically the key to my happiness and as long as i can keep practicing ill never be miserable, but more about that later. I like to watch and reflect on a lot of things, mostly people and why they do what they do. I want to travel so i can try and understand people more. If i had the patience for school id probably be an anthropologist

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Ideally, I'd like to travel the world! See what life, other cultures, and basically what reality is like for other people. But couchsurfing, ill only see small glimpses of those things at a time. So ill settle for just meeting new people until i have the means to really experience a life in other cities :)

Interests

I like almost all forms of artwork: traditional, digital, performance, sculpture, etc, and i enjoy trying my hand at creating my own work. I am enthralled with the circus arts, mainly object manipulation and acrobatics.

Music, Movies, and Books

Im mainly listen to instrumental hip hop and alternative/indie rock, but i listen to a little of everthing besides country or the pop junk on the radio

I honestly dont read much besides articles, but when i do its fairly dry technical information, like text books or research material. Its usually philosophical or psychology realated.

As for movies (and tv) i enjoy sci-fi, action, suspense/thiller, and not gonna lie, but a BUNCH of anime. Not too into horror unless theres cool mythology or story to it, never been mjch of a romantic, and its kind of hard to find good comedy that doesnt pander to the masses. Some of my favorite directors are Tarentino, Christopher Nolan, Satoshi Kon.

I can teach a few circus skills, provide great conversations (especially after a drink or two, im much more convincing and eloquent), or a helping hand for just about anything needed.
