About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I am a working poet that travels the U.K and once a year works abroad.

ABOUT ME

I'm a father, teacher, poet, performer, hippy, eco friendly wanderer of the spoken word artform. I am blessed to have a great job and meet nice people.

ok what to write next, empathise with a host here, ok... I'm clean, honest (full enhanced crb upon request), good social skills, used to be a chef so will exchange a dinner and washing up for you and whoever else for a couch, stable, spare room, barn or outhouse for the usage of sleeping for one tired dreadlocked hippy artist bloke.

PHILOSOPHY

To be humble cost nothing, kindness is not weakness.
I live on a needs not wants basis, creating a small carbon footprint but aiming to offset this with good deeds, eco protests, green living etc.
I treat energies with respect, people are individuals with different journies and I only see one race. Human.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently living a year of research for my artform. I'm a poet by trade and have been living off grid for a few months for a project called 'Poet without residence' upon completion I will take time to write a one man show covering my year. Thus far I have the English hedonism of festival season, the grace of teaching in Brunei, the madness of British weather etc etc. Couchsurfer experiences may be in the play, may not.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

ON this site very little, in life a few years of travelling, off grid living and living in a van meant I already have a few couches, water refill points where I exchange food and cooking for a bath and van parking space for the night. I don't drink so never loutish in my behaviour, am a peace loving hippy who trades and enjoys the ethos of freeganism and cashless living.
