Hey, my name is Richard, I am from Germany, 20 years old finished my first, 7 month long solo trip last year! Since then I‘ve explored the Baltics, Sweden, Finland, Poland and Spain, mostly without flying.
Next semi big trip is going to be overlanding to Romania, exploring the country and then across Europe by land/ferry to southern Spain before having an adventure in Morocco.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on cs to meet people from all over the world, get an authentic experience in the places I visit and to learn something about local history, culture and language.
Of course it is also a great tool to make travelling both for me and for everyone else budget-friendly :)

I listen to lots of different music, but mostly hiphop/rap and 70s/80s. Regarding movies, I like many things, but am not really into the topic :) .
And when it comes to reading, I like non-fictional books about politics, economics, philosophy or society in general, but am also interested in literature and read books from Kafka, Orwell, Dürrenmatt and many more!
