Hi I'm Richard from the Netherlands. I'm currently hitchhiking with my brother all the way from Amsterdam to Singapore :) We both decided we don't like school that much yet, so we first want to travel the world. On this adventure we hope to meet lots of nice and likeminded people!
Also we don't prefer sleeping outside so it would be an extra plus if we could stay at someone's place and maybe make new friends :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are on couchsurfing because sometimes we don't have a place to sleep. Also what we really like is speaking to strangers and getting to know people from all around the world

At this point I'm really interested in the things above. Because I'm traveling in the most basic way with my brother I hope to experience those things a lot :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A cool experience of mine is that I went to Suriname once and a 5 hour hike through the jungle to a mountain where we also stayed the night. In the morning the sunrise was incredible and looking over the jungle felt unreal

Teach, Learn, Share

The journey just started and we're not wise enough to teach other people. But we love to hear stories of other people that we can enjoy and learn from

What I Can Share with Hosts

I hope we can offer good company, maybe a nice chat and hopefully we can just have a good chilled time :) But of course if the host is not in the mood for that we can just keep our mouths shut ;p
