I take a keen interest in politics, regularly listened to the Daily Politics, the daily review of parliament, live coverage of parliament with particular interest and knowledge of House Business questions, Education questions, and Foreign Affairs debates and questions. Blogs and websites read often include Conservative Home, Labour List, Lib Dem Voice, Social Market Forum, Centre Forum, Centre for Cities, Progress and Bright Blue. Keen interest and knowledge in political culture and events of other countries. Watched with interest as the Alliance of four parties under the leadership of Fredrik Reinfeldt lost power at the last general election in Sweden and currently keeping informed of the present situation where a coalition of the Social Democrats and Greens have to rely on the reduced number of alliance MPs to get budgets through the Riksdag. Currently deepening my knowledge of the composition of the Spanish parliament and observing the volatile and changing nature of national polls in preparation for the general election in December that have led to Podimos tying with the ruling People’s Party being led by Mariano Rajoy.
