Hey Surfers

So I thought I'd update my profile. This is my new account as I've lost access to the one from the old CS site.
I'm a chilled dude to the bone (friends sometimes call me panda because it's close to impossible to upset me and I also have the kung fu skill of falling asleep with my eyes wide open). I've hosted a few surfers during my time in Switzerland and I've stayed with hosts in Sri Lanka, UK, India and Singapore before. I'll gladly share my experience in person as it was rich! :D I'd say I've always been quite open minded, understanding and inclusive. I like to get to know the friends of my hosts and I like to introduce my guests to anyone I think they'd enjoy knowing or could learn from :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

It seems I prefer to move to countries rather than just visiting them. That way I get a much better idea of what life there is like and how the people in that culture really think and feel about life. I've even met two previous business partners while couch surfing in Sri Lanka where I ended up staying for around 2 years on and off. (I had my own apartment, I didn't couch surf for 2 years non stop). Anytime I move to a new place I love to meet people via CS or Internations to create my social circle from the get-go. And lastly I'm just fascinated by how cool and different people can be. It's like everyone's life is a book to read and learn from.

音乐、电影和书籍

Too many to mention. I'm an art'o'holic. Really...
But during my CS hosting/staying I love to listen to my guests' or host's favourite music and then recommend them bands which I think they would love as I'm a bit of a walking music and movies library. It just feels great to help someone discover their new favourite band or movie and knowing that they will subconsciously anchor it with the time you shared together. =)

Taste in great music, movies, wine and beer. And then there's the boring stuff like my experience from living in 6 countries and working/doing business in about 10 different industries. I also occasionally bring the best mead in the world with me to share, since it's made in my home country of Slovakia :)
