Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've found Couchsurfing to be a good way to meet some fab people and I'm always keen to find out more about places I'm visiting and other people's experiences in general.

Interests

Love cycling and aiming to do a bit during my travels but generally just want to get outdoors and have fun

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I really like chilled out electronica, especially Bonobo, Hybrid but anything really (grunge, rock, soul, blues etc)!

Movies: I love art house French and Swedish films, but also a sucker for Marvel movies and Fast and Furious films unfortunately :-)

Books: I got out of the habit of reading for pleasure when I did a lot of studying for my profession but always like travel / adventure writing, factual science and history stuff, and anything with a healthy dose of humour, eg Bill Bryson

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went for a moonlight walk across a frozen river in the Arctic Circle at minus 40 celsius

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good chat, lots of stories about my travels and an interest in theirs, a helping hand with anything that needs it and respect for their environment
