ABOUT ME

Born in the farmland of NJ(yes. It does exist) Stayed far too long in New Jersey and now I am in Washington teaching America's youth algebra.

I am a fun, sarcastic person who is always up for anything. You know I like you if I make fun of you.

PHILOSOPHY

I went to the doctor the other day. After a thorough examination, he looked at me and said "I have terrible, terrible news. I am so sorry, but if everything goes right you only have 40-60 years to live."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in the dining room of a small apartment, so I can't really host, but I am always willing to meet up and show you around D.C.

I also am traveling to South America this summer. I hope to do some surfing there.

Books
Anything by Vonnegut, Shakespeare, Faulkner, Kerouac, Twain, Thomas Friedman, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, and Orson Scott Card. I am a huge geek so I love Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter.

Pretty much everything. I love rock, jazz, classical, and . Recently, I started getting into bachata and salsa.

Movies
I am a fan of all movies. There is nothing better than watching a really great movie, other than making fun of a really bad movie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sang with a Russian Orchestra in Lincoln Center in New York and all throughout Europe, Hiked 1/3 of the Appalachian Trail, cleaned up trails around the Golden Gate Bridge. Nothing too amazing... yet.

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach for a living, so I am always game to teach or learn. I am comfortable teaching physics, math, computers/tech, anything I know(which isn't much). I would love to learn languages, photography, dance, and anything anyone is willing to teach me.
