About Me

Hi,
I'm a french musician from Nantes on the west coast of France, I'm used to travel with my job but also to volunteer in some organic/permaculture farms and eco-construction projects across Europe. I like to think that I'm a nice, clean and well-mannered person. I'm easy to live with and open to every kind of culture. I'm curious and greedy for any knowledge I can get from any one, about any subject.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm attracted by the wide range of chances and possibilities in terms of "meeting people" that is brought by Couchsurfing. Dealing with locals in a country you do not know is the best and easiest way to immerse yourself in a culture and approach it from inside.

Interests

I practice music for nearly 20 years now, mainly playing the drums or singing in several bands. I play a traditional american instrument called Autoharp as well and a bit of piano to compose my own songs, along with all the midi controller and computer interface you need nowadays.
I'm really involved into Photography for a long time, silver and digital photography, mostly what we call "street photography". My field of work is mainly inspired by the great american colorists of the 70's as William Eggleston, Stephen Shore or Joel Meyerowitz. My travels always serve as a pretext for the endless source of joy that the photography work provides me, experiencing the world through the prism of the look and the construction of pictures.

Music, Movies, and Books

So much to tell, so many various references in music, art, cinema or literature that naming a few would be unfair for the others and not an accurate depiction of my tastes or cultural identity.
The best is to exchange during discussions about all these fabulous subjects.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share the beauty of my native language of course, some musical tips from my experiences, photographic advices, give help with computers or cooking.
