ABOUT ME

I've lived half of my life in Beirut - and the other in The Netherlands. My parents have been intensely involved in humanitarian work, particularly with Palestinian refugees, and this has given me a deep sense for social justice; as well as the realisation that "wealth" and "poverty" are sometimes quite hard to define.

I studied architecture for 3 years and anthropology for 2 - and it's slowly culminating into an interest in cities and how people live in them. Will be starting a degree in Human Geography soon.

I'd say I'm quite an engaging person who loves to hear people's stories and share my own.

Interessen

I'm quite a creative person - music, writing, drawing, whatever I can get my hands on, and in many ways 'creating' is how I (try to) make some sense out of life, the world, and all its injustices and complexities.

Friends and family - people in general - are perhaps the most important thing to me. Conversations, food, a few drinks, and some good laughs are definitely the stuff of life.
