About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Sun, Sea, Sand, and Science! Woooooo!!!!

ABOUT ME

I'm a jack-of-all-trades but gradually becoming master of some of them! I have a pretty unusual job researching psychology in wild animals, which keeps my brain occupied to say the least! I love the outdoors and I'm always checking the weather forecast while I'm at work so that the moment I finish work I can kidnap some friends and head off to surf, kiteboard, explore the coast path, or cycle somewhere awesome (Lizard Point Cafe, best food/view ratio yet, but willing to be proved wrong!). In the evenings, I like to get people together for food, films, or a cheeky pub trip ;) . I've always played music and really love the variety of people I have met through it, whether its jam night at the pub or a fully rehearsed show. I love creating things, whether its a tasty dinner for some friends (or couchsurfers!) , finding a new running route, or shaping yet another surfboard... I guess my approach to life is basically mind-body-soul (and apparently cliches!).

I've met some really inspirational people through Couchsurfing. It feels like a holiday when people come on holiday to my place! Definitely building up a long list of people to visit all over the world!

Any questions, ask away!

PHILOSOPHY

Aristotle / Charlie Sheen / Paulo Coelho rolled in to one!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love hosting people. Everyone I have met has been fun, polite, generous, and different every time!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have Couchsurfed in Sweden, which really opened my eyes to the whole concept. I had a great time and am an absolute convert now. I have since hosted people from South Africa, Germany, Colorado, Italy, China, Thailand, Texas, France, Switzerland, Poland, Norway, The Netherlands, Spain, and a probably a few others that I'm forgetting! Love it!
