I'm a 29 year old musician from Norwich, England, who has lived in London for the last 10 years before dropping everything and travelling at the end of summer 2019. I am a very open minded person who likes to experience new things, such as music, art, food and drink. My passion in life is composing music - so far I have been involved in 6 recorded projects, 3 of which are on Spotify etc., and the rest still being mixed. I also like to read, write and make collages.

I've started travelling and working as of this autumn, and I was recommended couchsurfing by friends to use when visiting new places, because it's the best way to meet people and truly experience a culture better. I also plan to use it when I have a place in which I can use others!

My most recent love in literature has been Confederacy of Dunces, a hilarious yet incredibly well written tale starring the most unique anti hero I have ever encountered, aswell as Patrick Hamilton's work. Music-wise, I'm always loving jazz and hip hop, aswell as disco/funk/soul and old indie.

I was chosen as part of a jazzy-soul guitar duo to represent England in the Festival of Street Performance in Lisbon after being found busking in China Town, London one afternoon in 2014. We were there for one week and played 4 hours per day.

I am a qualified English teacher, and have taught piano, guitar, saxophone and drum kit for 4 years, aswell as a degree in philosophy. I now want to learn more about cooking and languages - my aim is to achieve fluency in 2 or more in 5-10 years!
