ABOUT ME

I am Australian, however, I've spent many years living across Asia [Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong].

My lineage is equal measures Scottish and Irish [.. so it's a bit of a mystery why I look more Italian or Spanish]. Maybe I was adopted? :-P

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spent two years backpacking through Europe many years ago, and I will never forget the generous hospitality of the many people I met who gave me a place to crash. It'd be plain bad karma not to share.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being an expat in Asia for the best part of twenty years has thrown up more amazing experiences than I would ever care to rate or attempt to list. Eternally optimistic, I expect the best is yet to come.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to share fun times and good wine. I'm reasonably well known as a fashion photographer - probably best recognised for my artistic nudes which you can check out on my website. So, I guess I could offer a few tips on photography and art direction. After a long career as a creative director in advertising, there's not much I don't know about branding and communications both in traditional and digital media. I'm happy to chat away about it. I'm also a certified hypnotherapist, something I studied because it fascinated me, not because I wish to practice it. I recently hypnotised my eight year old niece to have her to stop biting her fingernails and she quit chewing immediately. She now thinks I'm magic. I rather like the fact that she thinks I'm magic.
