Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted my first couchsurfer in April 2013, and attend some of the meetings. Hope to travel a bit more soon :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I go to couchsurfing meetings in KL and had my first couchsurfer in April 2013. She was here mostly for a job interview so didn't have much sight seeing time but enjoyed showing her KL by night.

Interests

Apart from travel, meeting new friends, visiting exhibitions, theatre, live music (all types!),socialising, eating out, cinema and eating out Malaysian style. Did I mention eating out? Malaysians love that!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies with a story or just fun, R&B and most types of music depending on my mood, and books usually something political or historical.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living in rural communities (Malaysia, Thailand and Maldives) and learning about new cultures and mine via those experiences which also broadened my outlook.

Teach, Learn, Share

Always nice to make new international friends here that I can visit in the future in their home countries. And of course I am always willing to show people around wherever I am. I am a teacher after all!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I know KL and surrounding areas. I know places for good local food and all the usual sights!
