About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel the world over the next few years and have many stories to tell
ABOUT ME
I'm a very friendly guy. I met a guy off the internet once who was coming up to Auckland from Queenstown and I took him around all the cool spots in Auckland. He loved it, and I really enjoyed showing off the city. I heard of CS and thought that'd be a great way to have a similar experience with someone from another country.
I'm a student so I have quite a bit of free time (during the holidays and evenings, etc). I love to cook, read and exercise. I also love remote control things, and have a few model helicopters.
PHILOSOPHY
Personally, I'm extremely open minded. I believe everyone is inherently altruistic and good (or designed to be, at least). I love teaching people things and often go out of my way to help people. I think helping someone gives all of us a narcissistic hit.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'll offer my couch for strangers and hopefully take them out and about a few days too. I hope to travel next year and stay on someone else's couch (or better yet, their guest room!!)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm a young guy, so I've never traveled on my own, and so I have no CS experience. I was pretty freaked out by the idea of going alone at first, but now I've decided that I'll be fine.
Interests
Love learning about new things, you could say I'm quite geeky. I can program computers, do electronics. I can also cook.
For fun I like to ride around on my motorcycle and go exploring places (so I know a lot of cool, no touristy destinations in Auckland)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I find strange things beautiful. I've been up in a helicopter to photograph a big marathon and seen other amazing views, but I find going to a quiet west-coast beach and watching the sunset equally amazing.
