ABOUT ME

i love painting ,,mostly big murals and my scetch book gets a workout on occasion. also printmaking ,,i love my psychedelic art as well,guys like victor moscosso,rick griffin and pretty much all the people involved in the zap 60's&70's comics have really influenced my stuff after i found my dads collection of the series at age 10.
i also dig music,,so,so much,,i love lots of different stuff,,it depends if i want to relax n`zone out,,maybe im going somwhere so i need some energy,,or if im going out,,so for me music can provide a wonderful edge and even instigate these situations or moods.
ive been living in edinburgh these past few years,managed to travel aorund a bit and work quite a few jobs as well.ed' is a great place to chill out and meet other travellers,its got a really different feeling to any other city ive been in,,id reccomend it to anybody to go and live in for a while.
right now im in japan.im travelling through bits of asia,so i guess ill add more here when ive settled down a bit more,,but so far i have met sooo many great people since i left edinburgh back in april,,

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

im here for networking and participating in the couchsurfing coomunity for the most part,,right now im fairly limited to let other people stay with me as im on the road myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i was introduced to c/s via a mate who`s registered with the site,,which is partly why i decided to join !!
actually i met him through a mutual friend while living in ed`,,it was a great connection as i then went and stayed in london with him,leading me to have easily the best 4 days of partying in my whole 2 years within the uk !!

another great experience for me was staying on a couch in kruezburg,berlin,,it was through a friend id made while in a hostel in barcelona,,we met up and stayed with friends of his friends ,so neither of us knew these guys,but it was AWESOME !! we all got on really well,cooked up big dinners ( ive been a chef,so can cook pretty nice meals ; ) went out to a few clubs & bars and basically just soaked up the berlin vibe which is very relaxed while also being very open and friendly.and i would have to vote them as haveing the best falafels ive ever eaten too ; )
i also lived in a big sharehouse for my last 6 or so month in ed',it was a very opening,communal experience,we had a mixture of spanish&basque,swedish,ozzie,japnese,mexican,,,it was a masive house @ times but also amazing place to live.as we had so many people there of dif' nationalities there was always someone staying in the loungeroom,and we had a rule anybody who was living there could have friends stay,,so many interesting and of course cool experiences there,,

cooking,,i can cook some pretty mean dishes,,,indian,italian,some japanese,,specialities being things like seafood dishes,pasta,curries,soups,gwokamoli,hummus,salads,,,and i dont do it often,but when it happens my chocolate moussseeeee is the *@<+ !!!!!
