Hi there! My name is Richie, I'm a clown, theatre-maker and actor based in Chicago.

I'm currently on a 38-performance tour of children's theatre shows in libraries from Pennsylvania to Virginia! One is about the science of outer space the other about the science of the ocean, all told through physical comedy, clown and audience interaction.

Beyond children's theatre, I make clown theatre for general audiences, lead clown workshops and love performing Shakespeare.

I'm a lover of nature and gardening and hope to integrate these loves of plants into my life more in the following years.

Originally from Pennsylvania, I've lived in Providence, Rhode Island, Chicago and France for 3 years. If you want to practice your French - it is always a 'plaisir' :)

I'm on Couchsurfing to meet and connect with locals folks during my children's theatre tour. Hopefully when I have more spacious housing (currently a cozy apartment in Chicago) I'll be able to return the favors :)

I speak fluent French and am literally *always* happy to speak French with anyone, even if they are early in their language learning journey.

I've worked as a gardener, and gardened as a hobby too. I love seeing and learning about other folks' gardens - especially now that it's summer.
