ABOUT ME

Honest - I can't be doing with lies.

Straight talking, no bull, quite outgoing and a little random. I like lots of stuff from art, reading, nature, physics, through to snowboarding´fishing etc.

I enjoy gigs - mostly indie/rock - and living in London for that is ideal, but I do miss the countryside so I get out there often for some calming scenery, you can't just go to bars all the time...

PHILOSOPHY

Do shit, not buy shit!

No one lies on their deathbed wishing they had worked harder! -I'm not lazy, its just that there is a limit. Find a balance, bit of harmony. I'm not fussed about having a Ferrari or something, I can't see how it would make me happy. I think I'd rather have chickens!
I don't like showoffs, big mouths, greed and obsession with having stuff.

Just got here after a friend I met in Sweden suggested I give it a go. I'd never heard of this, what have I got to loose?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfing Virgin!

Well I was until yesterday. Surfing with Lewis Horne from Oz right now in Lund... winner.

Books at the moment - The Death of Ivan Illich - Tolstoy, 1984 - Orwell (again), Eleven Kinds of Loneliness - Yates. Just read the Time Travellers Wife which was excellent. Do I go to see the film though????

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Couple of seasons in the French Alps - snowboarding. Worked in Portugal for a summer.
I don't get amazed so much, I don't like over selling stuff, its not that I don't enjoy stuff, just not in to bigging things up. Say how it is.

I love cooking and have hosted in a Chalet in Meribel for 16 people 5 course meals (that they really enjoyed and din't get ill from!) so I'm more than happy to cook pretty much anything.
I can teach you how to service a snowboard.
Fish for carp. (I look after them and put them back)
Shoot clay pigeons (ceramic flying disks).
