About Me

ABOUT ME

I have returned home to the UK in 2013 after teaching English in Thailand for over 18 months. Im all about meeting new people and sparking up new friendships. I love meeting people from other countries. Networking is very close to my heart and that's why I love this CS phenomena.

Living in Thailand was my fifth time living out of the UK and I'm always at my best when I'm away. Im like a human solar panel so the sun is very important to me. The UK really doesn't wow me too much with its weather.

PHILOSOPHY

Try and do something everyday that scares you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I rent a small flat in Morley. Not much to see hear but if you need a place to crash for a night for any reason get in touch.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Ive stayed in many shared houses over the years but never couch surfed. It's on my 'to do' list. Ive met many hosts and surfers over the years too and they all seemed cool.

Interests

I love anything web based, love exercising and keeping fit. Love swimming and the gym. Im also a huge music fan. All genres. Ive been DJing since I was 15 (god thats half my life!!!) but apart from the dance music I love my chillout, reggae, even classical music. I could write a massive essay on the tunes I like but I like to save the tunes talk for when I meet you in person....assuming we hook up of course.

Music, Movies, and Books

Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts.
Marching Powder by Rusty Young.
Anything by Irvine Welsh and most of Steven Kings stuff.
I dont really read as much as I used to but getting involved in a good book every once in a while is nice.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I visited every state in Oz in the two years I was there. That was a real achievement for me. Competing in the Sydney marathon was a massive buzz that I will never forget. I only ran the 9k fun race but I did it with around 20,000 other people including running over the harbour bridge. Massive bossage!

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to do a bit more teaching overseas so meeting people who have that persona to educate or just be a good person; those are the types of people I want to meet.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Lasagna and laughter

Countries I’ve Visited
