I am an Visual Effects artist for films, commercials and some VR and AR. I tend to aim for moderation rather than excess in life, but I play beach Ultimate Frisbee, and surf for fun in my local town in southern California. And I am a certified Rescue Diver (Padi), and have dived all over the world. I have traveled some: (Australia, N. Africa, Tahiti, Mexico, Turkey, Greece, Germany, England). I am definitely described as cheerful, friendly, and more interested in building bridges than winning an argument. Not a foodie, but I can appreciate a good cup of coffee, tea, or a glass of wine or a pint from time to time. ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined couchsurfing.com because of an upcoming trip where my girlfriend and I will be visiting a few countries in Europe this summer. We want to be around other people who love traveling, and meeting regular folks from all over. We are much more interested in people than tourist locations. And I never got to have my college backpacking trip through Europe, so maybe this will scratch that itch. :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to encourage and teach the sport of Ultimate Frisbee. You just need a disc to play, it's so simple. Especially at the beach where you do not even need shoes. :)
I sketch and paint for pleasure and sometimes work. Often you will find me at a cafe sketching and just enjoying the surroundings. I know computer animation, visual effects and make my own short films. I would love to share with others, of any experience level, about their experiences.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am an artist, and could make a sketch of your home, or a pet if you would like that. I am experienced with computers, video editing, and especially Photoshop. I'm helpful around a home for basic repairs, and am respectful, and tidy.
