Hello feature friends and fellow travelers!!

My name is Rick Wortel (my sirname is actually´carrot´ in English lol) and i'm 21 years old. I'm from the beautiful Netherlands where I grew up in a small town near Amsterdam.

I'm a very enthusiastic, social and open minded person. Let me take you on a small trip throughout my day:)

On a regular day I go to my university were I study automotive engineering. I'm a bit of a nerd and I love it!! Basically all throughout my day i'm eating. Im a healthy guy who likes to take care of his body. I just recently started with olympic weightlifting. I go to the gym for about 6 times in the week, to do some heavy ass lifting or technique training:):)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The world as i see it is getting smaller and smaller. It's easy nowadays to book a flight to whatever place you dream about. I don't want to regret not taking advantage of this privilege when i'm older, so i've decided to make my dreams come true, taking all opportunities I can!!
