ABOUT ME

I like climbing trees and swimming in inappropriate places. I adore going out dancing and I have a weakness for a certain brand of slapstick comedy.

Generally unoffensive, I am an optimist and use the word beautiful too much.

I like stretching myself with an overflowing work and social life. In my usual (non-travelling) life I spend my time eating and drinking with friends, overdosing on music and chowing through as many novels as possible.

I love to be around people but if I need a break you will find me fishing on a wharf or reading my book on the beach.

I don`t know if I have ever written anything with more I's in it but referring to myself in the the third person seems inappropriate somehow.....

PHILOSOPHY

I like to listen to people talk about the things they are passionate about and absorbing new ideas.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting, surfing and meet people in and around my city for dinner or drinks. People who surf my couch are welcome to join my friends and I for adventures around Wellington, but they are also welcome to use my place as a clean and quiet place to explore Wellington from.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I heart couch surfing.
I have had two very memorable spontaneous roadtrips in Kyushu with my couchsurfers now. I also met a friend for life while being hosted in Fukuoka. I can honestly say I have not had a bad CS experience in all the time that I have been using this awesome network.

New things! Looking at art, fishing, diving, listening to and talking about contemporary music, hiking and camping, reading books and occassionally talking about them, watching films and listening to others talk about them, swimming, running, food and drink (cooking, consuming, researching, buying and looking at). And people to share these things with.
