CURRENT MISSION

My mission in life is to just live it. As unoriginal as that goal is, I really mean it. I try not to let anything get in my way and I try to make as many friends as possible.

ABOUT ME

First of all, you can find me on facebook. My profile there is pretty in depth.

I never really know what to say about myself. There is so much to me. Yet I am a simple person. I get great pleasure in the simple things in life. I love meeting new people and sharing the great experiences in life.

I am a hopeless romantic and an adventurer. I am willing to try ALMOST anything. I love people. I even think everyone needs a few a**holes in their life. It's sort of like "how can we experience pleasure if we don't know pain?" We need to know a few jerks in order to really appreciate the amazing and kind people in our lives.

This is a little quote about myself I wrote a while ago...

I am always someone different. I am always the same. I am loyal. I think too much. I don't think enough. I like to read, but I get anxious and don't finish many of the books I start. I talk to animals (I know it's silly and I am not sure they understand me but I do it anyway). I am afraid of death, failure, and not being loved. I am not afraid of spiders, snakes, heights or talking in front of large crowds. I am not religious. I am spiritual. I believe in ghosts. I believe in karma. I believe that everything happens for a reason. But I also believe that, with a strong enough will we can alter the course of fate.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm still fairly new to couch surfing. I thought I'd give it a shot. Couch surfing seems the right way to go to get a cool cultural experience and meet some great people along the way.

I lived in/traveled through England and Europe four 5 months last year and met some pretty amazing people. I hope to host some cool people in my home or show enthusiastic travelers around the Bay Area.

Like I said, I'm new here. I've already made some cool friends and I look forward to making many more connections with interesting people all over the world and hopefully hosting some cool people in my home.

The movies, books and music I enjoy are one of the things I enjoy talking with people about. I have some many favorites for so many reasons, it's hard to list everything here.

I guess I can list at least one of each.
I see a lot of movies. Most recently I've seen "Ice Age 3D: Dawn of the Dinosaurs," "Harry Potter and the half-Blood Prince," and "Away We Go"

Most recent book read and enjoyed: I just finished reading Armistead Muapin's "Tales of the City" series- a true classic that takes place in the always wonderous San Francisco.

All time favorite band: U2.

I go snow camping and I know how to build an igloo. I think that's pretty cool. I feel like I haven't lived enough of life to say I've done something TRULY AMAZING. Ask me in 80 years and I'll let you know.

I would love to learn many languages. Really, anything you can teach me would be much appreciated, especially cooking. I am willing to share cooking skills and recipes I know, if you are willing to welcome me into your kitchen/share mine if I am hosting you :) I am willing to teach English as well as share any other skill, or whatever, you may find interesting.
