ABOUT ME
I’ve been travelling quite a bit since I was a little kid. I was lucky my parents took me to heaps of places as they love travelling just as much as I do. So I guess I just continued doing it.
My fist big trip was travelling Australia for a year after highschool. I loved it so much that I went back to Melbourne for an exchange semester in 2009. After graduating from uni I moved to Hamburg to get serious, but found out that serious is not that much fun. That’s why I decided to travel Central America for a bit, before I’m moving to Newcastle/England to enjoy the student life again.
Seriously.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm a laid-back and uncomplicated person who loves to meet new people and experience different places. I try to appreciate life every day, especially the small things in life that you take for granted (how great is eating cold pizza the next day or contact lenses!)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Since I'm moving to Newcastle in the middle of September and am looking for a place to live myself I don't have a couch to offer right now. But as soon as I get settled and become a local I'm happy to show you around and offer you my couch!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm just starting - I've been wanting to sign up for years, but somehow always managed to become a couchsurfer without being an official member :)
Interests
I like chocolate mud cake (with cream AND ice cream), mexikaner (that's a drink!), open air festivals, having two seats in an airplane, my flip flops (they have massage-pimples), summer, flea markets and my really old mobile phone (ok that's a a lie, but I keep telling myself that)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Doing my open water certificate in Honduras 2 weeks ago was pretty awesome. Although I would have appreciated to do my confined water dive in a pool instead of at 12 metres depth. :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can sneeze artifically. Don't know if I can teach you, but it's pretty awesome when I do it.
Countries I’ve Visited
Australia, Belize, China, Egypt, Guatemala, Honduras, Indonesia, Israel, Mexico, Nicaragua, Spain, Sri Lanka, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United States
Countries I’ve Lived In
