ABOUT ME

My girlfriend and I are college students in the US. I'm in a great books program at St. John's College in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Sarah is figuring out what she wants to at the College of Marin i.e taking as many arts classes as she can possibly handle. I am a generalist and Sarah is a writer/organizer. What I want to do most in life is feed the world by creating gardening robots, while Sarah wants to write plays and make films.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We hope to surf some comfy couches in Edinburgh and Barcelona with some really awesome, interesting, strange, artsy, geeky, genius, musical, fun, wild people. Update: We really need a place to stay in Edinburgh or the surrounding areas. Please we're cool people, we can cook and clean. We can even bring a house warming gift if need be!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only done one night of couch surfing, and that was by accident. I went wwoofing (organic farm hopping) two years ago. I didn't manage to plan the whole trip before I left. One morning I found myself at the farmers market in Santa Fe, New Mexico without a place to stay or a farmer to work for. I managed to find a farmer who could use my help, but he couldn't host me that night. I ended up running into someone who, after some conversation, let me sleep on their couch. It a was wonderful experience.

Bragging about how hilarious, brave and talented my dog is.

Throwing tea parties, with tea sandwiches and real Bavarian china only to have it turn into a sausage fest with beer. (Why are the only humans that go to my tea parties college guys?
