Hi, my name is Ricky and I am a full-time working professional from Australia and currently living in the UK. I believe theory and textbooks leave a void for learning that can only be filled by traveling, meeting new people and experiencing a new location.

I am on a journey to meet new people, widen my world view and explore different contexts in order to expand my own personal context. I am a seasoned traveller, as I have visited over 25+ countries, yet have never given couchsurfing a go before. I am here to see if it is worth it and see what connections and experiences I can create 😀.

I have a passion for travel. As an Australian, I have lived far away from most of the rest of the world for most of my life. I am now currently living in the UK for work and have been making the most of it by travelling as much as I can to Europe. I think seeing and experiencing new adventures with locals is the best and most authentic way to see and appreciate a place.
