I'm a local 'Hong Konger', who was born and have lived in Hong Kong for the majority of my life. I'm a father of 2; a 21 year old daughter Sam and a 17 year old son Tim, who currently live in Australia with my beloved wife Joyce, which I visit regularly, and as I spend a fraction of my time in Australia, I cannot host guests all throughout the year. I live in Hong Kong to take care of my parents, and due to my work at the University of City Hong Kong.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined the CS community because my daughter recently took her first ever solo traveling trip and tried couchsurfing for the first time. She had very good reviews about it, and told me how much being a guest and meeting & befriending the locals enriched her traveling experience. I was convinced that CS would be a great way to meet people from around the world, or even just to give back to the world, especially for those who are brave and determined enough to take on their journey to see and experience the world.
