Go on adventures around the world, get a job in Europe, finally figure out New York City, and drink lots of wine.
I enjoy traveling to distant places, reading tons, meeting crazy people, and building multimedia book apps. I'm Peruvian-American (born in the USA) and excited to keep traveling abroad!
I believe in good books, the immortality of punk rock (though I don't listen to it that much), and I've recently accepted that the 90s aren't coming back. I live my life to accomplish great things and eat great things. I also like taking photographs (former journalist) and posting them on social networks.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been to Couchsurfing meetups for a couple of months now and have met some great people. Other than that, I have a few friends who have Couchsurfed and they highly recommended it, so I'm giving it a shot.
Photography, reading, web programming, dancing, writing, and walking across the surface of the Earth.
Music, Movies, and Books
Any books by Italo Calvino, Jorge Luis Borges, or fantasy and magical realism writers are great. Some of my favorite books: Tropic of Cancer, Cosmicomics, If on a Winter's Night a Traveler, House of Leaves, The Stranger, Collection Fictions (Borges), The Complete Stories (Franz Kafka).
MUSIC - I listen to anything from 20s jazz hits to folk to indie and some smatterings of electronic music. Recently I'm listening to FKA Twigs, Foxygen, the Cure, Air France, Radiohead, Deerhunter, Carlos Gardel, Poolside, and STRFKR
MOVIES - I'm not a huge movie buff but I liked Interstellar, Boyhood, and Grand Budapest Hotel. I also like The Lord of the Rings and as for TV, House of Cards and Game of Thrones.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went on a 3-day trek through the Andes Mountains to reach Machu Picchu. I also participated in a student protest and occupation of the public university, UBA, in Buenos Aires.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know how to do front end web development really well -- so if you need help setting up a blog or personal website, I'm your guy.
I can also dance merengue and bachata, so if you're looking to learn how to dance, I can help on that front.
