About Me

I'm 21 years old and I was born and raised in Orlando, Florida! I'm a senior at the University of Central Florida, and I will be graduating in December. I'm starting to look for job opportunities, and I will likely be relocating. Aside from Orlando, I have lived in New York City, Tallahassee, and Rome, Italy.

I love traveling! I know everyone says that, but I truly do. My dream career is to be a travel journalist; documenting my life as I try new foods, meet new people, and see new places. I want to have at least one friend in every country, and I'm not worried because I'm really great at making friends!

About a month ago, my friends and I rented a huge van and road tripped from Orlando, FL to the Grand Canyon! We stopped in Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Tennessee. It was my first time going out west and I loved it!

As far as my professional life goes, I have had a few internships during my college career: writing entertainment articles for media companies, using my voice on a local radio station, and doing public relations for a non-profit organization. My career field is very broad and I love all of the options it gives me!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a frequent traveller, and I'm super friendly and comfortable in foreign places. I'm flying to Washington D.C. in a few weeks for a job interview and my friend recommended I try Couchsurfing! It seems like a fun new adventure, and I'd get to meet cool people along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movie: Interstellar and anything Tim Burton!
My favorite book: The Kite Runner
My favorite music: The Killers, Börns, The Lumineers, Bleachers, Bob Dylan. Pretty much anything and everything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Left the country for the first time and flew to Italy. I found a host family and lived there for a little over 3 months. I made a ton of friends from around the world, and got to help teach some Italian kids English!

Countries I’ve Visited
