About Me
perspective:
I want to collect many different perspectives on life. Living in different countries on different continents, being in completely different jobs, meeting different people in new environments.
Instead of just sticking with one thing I think is good, I want to try different ways of living.
For this, visiting places sometimes just doesn‘t cut it. It‘s nice to just enjoy the atmosphere of a new place. But what it is like to work there, spend your evenings, weekends and free days there, is far more fascinating to me.
stuff about me:
I am currently in Canada on a working holiday visa. I‘m living & working in Vancouver and will soon move to Whistler for my winter job as a ski instructor.
The things I enjoy most in my free time are meeting friends, sitting at beautiful places, biking and making photos. This all only gets trumped by skiing ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In the recent past I've lived in shared flats and hostels quite a lot. And in these places, living 'like a local' is quite difficult.
So I would love to stay with other couchsurfers, learn about their place and understand what it really means to live there.

Standing in Madras, Oregon after the solar eclipse on a sunny day without any clue how to get home. Somehow I just felt free.

I‘d be happy to share some stories. I enjoy talking about everything there is.
I can tell you things about Germany, Switzerland, Europe and teach you some German if you‘re really ambitious ;)
