ABOUT ME

That guy tells way too many terrible puns. Ok I'm not that bad but I get some laughs (and more groans).

I'm a pretty dependable and funny guy. I don't take anything too seriously.

I love exploring wilderness areas and going off trail on weekends and going out drinking during the week.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is short too take too seriously, be nice to your friends and be attentive to your work and I imagine everything should go fine.

My rule with travelling is plan 1 thing you MUST DO and figure out some things that you would want to do. That way you get that satisfaction of something you really wanna do and have time to just kinda explore and go with the flow.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I occasionally host and would love to show people around and take people out! I'm a bit of a foodie and I love beer. I also love hiking if you want to explore the bay area natural side as well as its urban side.

I have a job that lets me work remotely once in a while so I've started travelling and hope to go all over the place now since I didn't used to be able to travel, I'm starting a bit later than others it should be fun.

Foodie and a beer guy.

I call myself a renaissance geek, I'm into all the classic pillars of geekdom: Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Comics, Anime, Movies. But I also love the social sciences, psychology, sociology, how we work as people and society is interesting.

History is probably my favorite subject, I was gonna specialize in post-reconstruction america at school but decided to pursue computer science instead.

I love dancing and karaoke, always down for either.

Movies: Cabin in the Woods, Alien, Aliens, OldBoy, Independence Day, Lost in Translation, Star Trek, anything by Kevin Smith.

Music: Too much...... way too much... Electro, Top 40, Ska, anything I can dance that's high energy honestly. Classic Rock.

Books: Dresden files, sci-fi and fantasy mostly. Currently reading Heinlein: Stranger in a Strange Land & Moon is a Harsh Mistress

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Skydiving out of a plane is pretty damn awesome.
There's a beautiful waterfall that falls onto the beach near Point Reyes in the Bay Area.
I've gone to the lowest levels of the main volcano cave in Lava Beds National Park.
Climbed half dome and cloud's rest over a beautiful 3 day weekend.

I can share my experiences with life and my knowledge of history and how it's influenced us. I have a lot of random knowledge since I read a lot but I don't think I'm super knowledgeable in any one subject.

I'm pretty knowledgeable about programming and computers, its useful skills to have.
