About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To Implement the Power of Now...

ABOUT ME

A wannabe professional wanderer (aka travel writer) who lives too far in the future... Grew up in the suburbs of Detroit (not as awful as it sounds)...and trying to find the courage to move out west to Colorado. The happiest moments of my life have been spent on the road with only a pack on my shoulder...when I didn't know exactly where I was going, sleeping or eating. I'm admittedly a bit restless and my curiosity about the world at large runs deep and wide. I appreciate the simple things in life and try to steer clear from the trappings of suburbia...though hold no ill will against those who don't. Live and let live, but only if you mean it. My life(style) means more to me than acquiring and maintaining stuff.

PHILOSOPHY

To live free...from pain, sorrow, doubt, fear and debt.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Diving in, head first!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I feel fortunate because all of my experiences have been really great. Its mostly just about kindness, love and respect for sharing something new. I have had many wonderful stays abroad as well...from single and urban to ranching with families.

Interests

Ski/Ride/Run/Swim/Bike, Tennis, Anything Colorado, Foreign Travel/Language/Culture/Food, Road Trips, Thai/Indian Cooking (I'll put curry on anything). Have run 8 marathons and some tri's...would love to try a 1/2 Ironman someday. Italian espresso (as if there is anything else!) and good microbrew IPA.
