About Me
Currently traveling through Latin America because its always been a dream of mine. I have grown up in the US and Japan and am bi-cultured, have been working in Japan for the last 10+ years and needed a break. So why not? and I started my journey.
It has been an amazing experience so far experiencing the unknown lands and encountering so many things, cultures, people that I would have never met before. I am genuinely interested in people and how they live and what makes them happy. For that reason it seemed like a good reason to try Couchsurfing rather than the standard hostel travel.
I think I am a bright, energetic and chilled person, loves to meet and talk to people and observe. Love physical activities as well as cooking, reading, watching movies, dancing, drinking and technology. People tend to think I am not so Japanese, not shy and reserved but lively and social.
I've learned through my travels that there are so many different types of people and I am interested in knowing people that I usually don't encounter.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been traveling for a while in hostels/ hotels and I feel one thing that is lacking is meeting and understanding locals. I encounter so many great people from other countries traveling but I would love to get to know how real people live in the cities I visit. I would love to know what you eat, how you live, what you think. So making friends in the places I visit would be a great way.
I am new to Couchsurfing so I have not yet hosted or stayed, but I love the concept and would like to host people when I get back to Japan or when I settle somewhere.

Travel of course, cooking, running, dancing, and right now, learning Spanish.
My career background is in marketing and advertising so always interested in the way of communication especially with original ideas and technology.
