I am a PhD student at the University of Manchester. To get a break from "PhD" life, I am always keen on meeting new people, share our points of view and our experiences about travelling or anything else of great interest.

I sincerely want to travel around the country and the world and get to know the culture and as many pictoresque places of it as possible. Even when my workload doesn't allow me to travel, I opt for meeting people who travel and share their passion for travelling and their cultures.

I am really fond of any type of music, to be honest, as far as it is characterized by quality. I truly love music as I consider it to be one of the best ways of entertainment. However, if I had to pick I guess I would go for rock, trip hop, hip hop, trance and anything that is made up of weird, dynamic yet melodic sounds (i like to call them cute noises...).
My favourite kinds of movies are comedies, social, horror and classic ones. I enjoy movies that convey a more profound meaning or a new perspective of live. But, a movie that could make me laugh is always welcome! Plus, I love science, universe related documentaries as well (quite fascinating what there is out there..and we are part of it! splendid!).
Finally, I am a huge book fan! Psychological, philosophical books and novels are one of a kind to me. That is why, you can gain insights into subjects that you 've never thought before. Besides, it is pretty much like meeting new people..there is always something new to learn, laugh and be happy about.

Volunteering at the Nottingham Community and Voluntary Service as an IT consultant. That sense of being of use to people who really needed help was facinating.. Quite an idealist, I know. I just want a better version of the world, that's all. Asking too much maybe? :P
