ABOUT ME

I have a key ring (and you know how scientific those are) that says "Those born on July 1 are emotionally deep and sensivitive individuals. Profound and complex, they are very giving and unselfish yet can keep a whole world of personal feelings inside them. They have a highly social and charismatic side and are often sought out as understanding and helpful friends".

There really is a lot of truth in that.

One thing I absolutely HATE is the disgusting stink of garlic, I hope you respect that if I am hosting you.
I am not a morning person and can't handle any noice in the morning.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe all people are equal and if you're not taking care of yourself, no one else will either.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have both hosted and surfed. I haven't been active in any communities. Lately I haven't surfed that much and wasn't able to host for a couple of years. But now my couch is available again!
I can host only til September 27th, in October I am moving.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only positive experience. Spending the international couchsurfing day in Toronto was great! I have met so many amazing people in couchsurfing, otherwise I wouldn't have met them.

One thing has really started to annoy me because I have recently hosted quite a lot, and that is that most people don't read even the basic information. If you don't bother reading anything about your host, why should I bother opening my home to you? So, from now on if you don't even write my name correctly I will automatically decline. You also have to write my home country in your request or I will decline. Send me a request instead of a message!

Music, Movies, and Books

Hard rock and heavy metal. No, I do not play music loud all night ;) I also listen to some softer music (but no hip-hop or finnish dance music). I like movies that touch me, but sometimes a non-sense comedy is ok too. Same thing with books, they must speak to me. Music and books are my passion (and travelling of course).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can tell you about my country, and all the other countries I have visited. I am not messy and I don't smoke, or even drink much but I enjoy a glass of wine sometimes. I can adapt to your schedule and I don't need someone to show me around all the time.
