I am a middle aged widow with 2 dogs and my daughter is a final year student also living with me. My home is our safe haven and can be a buzz with friends visiting and/or some or other "project in the making".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Would love to see other countries and experience local customs and hospitality. I love meeting new people and have a fondness for tourists travelling to our beautiful country and try wherever possible to show true South African hospitality.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My whole life seems to be centering around my 3 wonderful children and I would say my single greatest achievement is that I (with the help of wonderful friends and God's grace) have managed to raise them to be content, well adjusted and caring individuals.
