I work abroad quite alot and am sick of staying in hotels - more interesting to get to know locals... Happy to share my extra bed with nice, clean and social person for a few days. Live alone and work alot so nice way to meet new people both as host and guest and to show people around etc.

Some stuff: Produced commercials in Sao Paolo, worked in a data center in India, went diving in Croatia, tried surfing in Indonesia, visited the Viet Cong tunnels in Vietnam, tried wine in Napa valley, bought maple sirup in Vermont, went on whale safari outside Province Town, completed one of the worlds longest cross-country ski races and a Marathon, started my own company etc. etc.
