Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I love traveling as a whole whether it's the back roads of America or the major destinations of the world. I also just love people and what better way of getting to know some one then sleeping on their couch. I've also found it a good way to work out my social muscles, every so often I get into the mood of not hanging around a lot of people but couchsurfing gets me back into it!

Interessen

I enjoy cooking for people and like trying any new recipe I can find especially if its from what ever country im in. but my top favorite things to cook are Detroit style pizza enchiladas homemade mac and cheese honestly anything that could be considered a comfort food.

I like to be out in nature mostly hiking and camping but always wanting to get more into whitewater rafting and bouldering.

I'm in to art and spent a 6 months as part of a ceramics studio creating unique pieces and even getting to sell some. I've been slowing down on a lot of my art projects but still when I can I've enjoyed time making candles and perfumes. I've also taken a few classes in dance mostly salsa but looking to get more practice.

I love to explore and spend alot of down time finding coffee shops to relax in and whatever pieces of art or culture makes that location unique.

I'm also a pretty social person who likes to be out of the house as much as I can, recently I've had a pretty good set group of friends in Portland but now that I'm traveling I get to flex those social muscles again!

When traveling i crave new information, so i tend to frequent both museums and classes for local art styles and ways of life.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I love most music but right now my favorites are. Afro cuban, traditional american folk and latin indie.
and my favorite bands include, talking heads, tears for fears, Jonny clegg, the derevolutions, fleet Foxes, Aesop Rock and mac demarco, Fela kuti.

I'm a huge comic book nerd and love to read as many as i can!

I do read some books mostly fantasy and Scifi and my favorite book is Do androids dream of electric sheep? John the balladeer and survivor.

Worked seasonal work in the Grand Tetons , working with people from around the world and getting to experience a surreal landscape with them.

I'm not a very skilled person so i cant teach much but I will learn anything you like to do! new recipes ,art or dancing are my favorite though!

I love to cook so I'll cook dinner for you or with you, I also enjoy story telling so I would love just sharing or making memories with people I meet.
